Capcom To Release Resident Evil 0 Remastered

Capcom Is The Reanimator

Capcom's Resident Evil franchise is often hailed as the grandfather of horror games within the industry. From spine-chilling atmospheres and brilliant sound design Resident Evil hasn't often failed to send a shiver down the spines of even the toughest gamers during its life span.

Though it must be said, Capcom has blundered somewhat over the years, drifting further and further from the roots of what made Resident Evil great in the first place: survival and horror. With the releases of both Resident Evil 5&6 respectively, we saw the franchise shifting dangerously into the action shooter genre and that didn't go down well with its audience at all.

Following the remastered release of Resident Evil in 2015 being both well received critically and being hailed a commercial success, it was clear to see that gamers across the board still appreciate horror games brimming with atmosphere and packed with puzzles.

Capcom are now releasing the prequel to the smash hit Resident Evil on both Xbox and Playstation systems as well as windows for PC. This reanimation of a once very popular and successful title brings the greatest the series has to offer to a whole new generation, and seats Capcom firmly back in the lime light with recent horror giants like Alien: Isolation and Until Dawn.

Resident Evil 0 is set to be released on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and Windows for PC 19/01/2016
