John Boyega Wants Battlefront 3 Campaign
John Boyega Wants Battlefront 3 Campaign

You may have already read in one of our previous articles exactly how we feel about the very bare bones Starwars: Battlefront 3, obviously it isn't very favorable. The stripping away of some of the most loved features of the series like space battles and galactic conquest left us feeling pretty sour about the whole thing. But it seems we are not alone when we say we feel there is a lack of content. John Boyega, star of the latest installment to the Starwars movie franchise, took to Twitter to ask EA if they ever intended to add a 'story mode' to the title.

@EAStarWars Will fans get a full on offline story mode? It';s more of an enjoyable way to learn controls. - John Boyega (@JohnBoyega)
EA responded to Boyega by asking if he was yet to try out the in-game missions. These missions however pale in comparison to an engaging and exciting campaign mode that has never gone forgotten in some of the biggest multiplayer shooters like Call of Duty and Halo. What's more, Battlefield has also always had a story mode available alongside it's multiplayer counterpart; and that was developed and published by the same guys!

Boyega seemed to really want to push the idea of a narrative element to Battlefront 3 as he even went as far as to ask if he could visit EA's UK offices.

@EAStarWars yeah thought it was great! But definitely leaves you wanting to engage within a narrative. Can I visit your base in the uk? - John Boyega (@JohnBoyega)

EA accepted the proposed meeting with the star via Twitter, though we cannot be sure just what the visit will entail. As of right now we can only think wishfully that Boyega will become a champion for Starwars fans everywhere and help push out a great narrative element that the Battlefront series truly deserves.
