PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds Coming to Xbox One

Coming out of #E32017, Bluehole Studios announces PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds will be coming exclusively to Xbox.

E3 2017 has been a big year for open world survival and battle royale titles, with the likes of  Conan: Exiles, The Culling and PU: Battlegrounds all making the move to the Xbox platform. Battlegrounds boasts an impressive 8x8 KM playable area, pitting players against each other to become the last man standing.

Details on the player limit have yet to be released, though the PC equivalent hosts upto 100 players as standard. We can estimate that there will be a reduction in that figure on the Xbox One console as games like The Culling limit players to 16 per match, and Ark Survival Evolved only just beginning to experiment with 100 player servers.

“Microsoft’s Game Preview program allows us to get feedback directly from players, something that has been crucial to our success on Steam Early Access,” Chang Han Kim, VP and Executive Producer at Bluehole, Inc

PlayerUnknown's Battleground is scheduled for release on the Xbox Preview Program late 2017, for the Xbox One/S/X before releasing fully in 2018.
